Southern Corsica gathers the island's most famous beaches, all within 45 minutes of Porto-Vecchio.
Santa Giulia
A shallow turquoise lagoon, ideal with children.
Rondinara
A shell-shaped bay between Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio, regularly ranked among the most beautiful in Europe.
Pinarello & San Ciprianu
North of Porto-Vecchio, quieter and family-friendly, watched over by Genoese towers.
Petit Sperone & Piantarella
Near Bonifacio: crystal-clear water and views over the Lavezzi islands.
Rivers & natural pools
When the heat rises, the southern rivers offer crystal-clear freshwater pools, less than an hour from the beaches.
The Cavu
Easy-access natural pools about twenty minutes from Porto-Vecchio, perfect for families.
The Solenzara
Turquoise pools at the foot of the Bavella needles, along the spectacular Col de Larone road.
The Polischellu waterfalls
A succession of pools and small jumps, for the more adventurous.

Southern Corsica is a feast: farm charcuterie, ewe cheeses, AOP honey and vineyards between sea and maquis.

AOP brocciu is enjoyed fresh in spring, in fritters or cannelloni; ewe tommes are savoured all year round.

The Figari vineyards, among the island's oldest, and those of Porto-Vecchio can be visited between two beaches. A tasting at the estate is highly recommended.
